Integrative Holistic Therapy
Integrative Holistic Therapy is a fluid blending of talk therapy and energy healing principles and techniques. The nature of the symptoms or problem are discussed while visualization and Law of Attraction principles are used to help create the desired goals and direction of the therapy. While this is happening, the energy systems of the body are being evaluated, cleared of blockages and enhanced with energy that heals and restores.
The verbal therapy may include such techniques as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, or Schema Therapy. Once the issue is identified, and the new vision is created, it is important to connect the actual physical symptoms associated with it, so these can be released from the body as well. This is where energy healing techniques are applied.
The following energy healing techniques may be used as part of Integrative Holistic Therapy, individually or in coordination with each other, depending upon the needs, responses and preferences of the individual:
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese healing art which is over 100 years old. It is practiced by trained, attuned individuals who are able to channel life force energy and offer it to you by placing their hands on or above body. The practitioner can feel your energy, and evaluate the state of the chakras as well as the energy flow between them. The emotional issues identified will correspond to specific chakras, which fully or partially close when the issue is discussed. These will require additional energy and focus to remain open and clear out blockages. This results in deep relaxation, lowered cortisol, diminished pain, trauma resolution and a sense of spiritual well-being.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
EFT, aka tapping, is sometimes also called emotional acupuncture. While tapping on specific acupuncture points, the individual will be identifying painful emotions, beliefs, stories and memories which embody traumatic energies and experiences. These are then balanced with new cognitive input which reframes the memory, while the relaxation response is activated and paired with the stressor. This addresses the blockages within the meridians as well as rewiring the brain to activate the relaxation response when the memory is recalled. Thus, even a trauma of many years can be released from the body and a state of deep relaxation can occur.
Tibetan Singing Bowls
The use of Tibetan Singing Bowls releases toxins, decreases cortisol, and realigns your cells and organs with their proper vibrational frequencies. It begins with a deep sense of relaxation while the bowls are played around the head. As the brainwaves become entrained with the vibration of the bowls, the rhythms slow to the delta or theta range of frequencies. These slow rhythms govern deep sleep, healing and core brain functions. As the bowls are then placed and played upon your solar plexus, various chakras and joints, pain diminishes and emotional and physical toxins are released. This can be done in silence, or in conjunction with talk therapy.
Using Integrative Holistic Therapy, I have witnessed significant changes in individuals with trauma and physical symptoms that accompany current emotional challenges. Many of these individuals were overwhelmed with symptoms and unable to resolve their trauma since childhood.
If you find yourself stuck, unable to resolve issues, change behaviors, and release physical and emotional pain, then Integrative Holistic Therapy may be the answer for you!
